    The short answer

Honest per-syringe pricing, what drives the range, and how to avoid getting overcharged.

    What to know

    1. 01Full syringe of lip filler in NYC: typically $700–$1,200 in 2026
    2. 02Half syringe: typically $450–$750
    3. 03Most first-time patients need a half to full syringe
    4. 04Product brand (Volbella, Kysse, Ultra) affects cost by $50–$150
    5. 05Membership pricing at established practices reduces cost by 10–20%

In New York City in 2026, lip filler is typically priced per syringe. A full syringe of hyaluronic acid lip filler generally runs $700–$1,200 at established practices, and a half syringe generally runs $450–$750. Most first-time lip filler patients start with a half or full syringe.

Pricing varies by injector experience, product brand, practice location, and whether you have membership pricing. Here is what determines the number on your quote.

    Typical NYC lip filler pricing

Ranges at established, board-certified NYC practices in 2026:

    • Half syringe: $450–$750
    • Full syringe: $700–$1,200
    • Two syringes (for volume + definition): $1,300–$2,200

The high end reflects Tribeca, Upper East Side, and Meatpacking practices with senior injectors and premium products. The low end reflects newer aesthetic RNs and lower-overhead practices.

Prices below $400 for a full syringe of brand-name HA filler are a red flag — the math does not work for the practice unless something else is off (inexperienced injector, unbranded product, or a promotional loss-leader).

    What drives the price range

Product used. At Plump we typically use Juvederm Volbella (softer, longer-lasting, ideal for lip lines and subtle definition), Juvederm Ultra (mid-density, good for volume), or Restylane Kysse (natural movement, good lift). Volbella tends to be the most expensive per syringe; Ultra tends to be the most economical.

Injector experience. A physician injector or senior nurse injector typically charges more than a newer aesthetic RN. Lip anatomy is unforgiving — asymmetry, lumps, or migration from technique errors are visible on your face for months. Experience matters here more than in most treatment areas.

Practice overhead. A Madison Avenue office with a full spa carries higher overhead than a smaller boutique medspa. That overhead lands on your quote.

Membership pricing. Most established NYC practices offer membership programs that reduce filler pricing by 10–20% for members.

    Half syringe vs. full syringe

The most common question from first-time lip filler patients: do I need half or full?

A half syringe (0.5ml) is usually enough for:

    • Subtle definition and shape without meaningful volume change
    • Correcting minor asymmetry
    • First-timers who want to see how their lips respond before committing
    • Touch-ups to maintain existing filler results

A full syringe (1ml) is usually needed for:

    • Meaningful visible volume change
    • Building lip structure that did not exist before
    • Correcting significant deflation or asymmetry
    • Patients who have not had filler in 12+ months

Your injector will assess your lip anatomy and goals at consultation. We tend to recommend starting with a half syringe for first-timers who want subtlety, and a full syringe for patients with a clear vision of a larger result.

What a fair NYC lip filler quote looks like

    A transparent quote includes:

    1. Product brand and volume (e.g. "0.5ml Juvederm Volbella" not just "lip filler")
    2. Total price stated up front, not calculated after the treatment
    3. What is included in the price — consultation, product, injection, any follow-up
    4. Follow-up policy — ask whether a 2–4 week touch-up is charged and at what per-unit rate
    5. Numbing and after-care — should be included, not upcharged

If a quote is missing any of these, ask. Reputable NYC practices expect the question.

Why the cheapest lip filler is rarely the best value

Bargain lip filler in NYC (well below $500 per full syringe) typically comes with one or more of the following trade-offs:

    • Newer injector still building skill on lip anatomy
    • Off-brand or compounded filler rather than FDA-approved Juvederm, Restylane, or RHA lines
    • No follow-up included — any adjustments cost extra
    • High-volume, low-time appointment without proper assessment
    • No dissolver on hand if something goes wrong

Lip filler complications — asymmetry, lumps, vascular occlusion — are more common with inexperienced injectors. When they happen, correction (dissolving and redoing) costs more than paying for a skilled injector the first time.

    How Plump prices lip filler

At Plump, lip filler is priced per syringe with rates posted openly on our Treatments page. We offer three syringe sizes so you only pay for what your lips actually need:

    • Bee Sting (0.25cc) — smallest option, ideal for very subtle definition or a first-time toe in the water
    • East Coast (0.5cc) — our most common first-time size, for defined shape and gentle volume
    • West Coast (1cc) — for meaningful volume change or building structure that was not previously there

Our VIP membership builds member per-syringe pricing into a monthly plan and includes a monthly credit that can be applied toward filler. For reference: 1cc filler runs $850 non-member / $750 VIP. We use FDA-approved Juvederm and Restylane products, and every treatment includes a complimentary 2-week follow-up window.

For a specific quote based on your lip anatomy and goals, book a consult. It is complimentary and includes a written treatment plan.
