The short answer
For a full upper face (forehead, frown lines and crow's feet), most Plump clients get 40–52 units. The most common full-face dose we give is 52 units. Many first-timers start with two areas, often around 36 units.
Typical units by area
| Area | Typical dose | Most clients get | Price at $16/unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frown lines | 16 units | 14–18 | $256 |
| Forehead | 14 units | 12–16 | $224 |
| Crow's feet | 16 units | 12–20 | $256 |
| Brow lift | 8 units | 6–8 | $128 |
| Masseter | 32 units | 28–40 | $512 |
| Lip flip | 6 units | 5–6 | $96 |
| Mouth corners (DAO) | 4 units | 4–6 | $64 |
| Chin | 6 units | 4–6 | $96 |
| Bunny lines | 4 units | 4–8 | $64 |
| Jawline | 16 units | 12–20 | $256 |
| Gummy smile | 6 units | 4–9 | $96 |
"Typical" is the median dose; "most clients get" is the middle half of treatments.
Why your dose might be different
- Stronger muscles need more. Men and people who frown or squint a lot often sit at the top of the range.
- Forehead and frown lines work as a pair. Treating the forehead alone can make brows feel heavy, so most people do both.
- Masseter is its own category. Jaw slimming and clenching use far more units (28–40) because it's a large muscle.
- Dysport is dosed differently. It takes more units than Botox for the same effect, so compare prices per treatment, not per unit.
