Treatment
BioRePeel
A no-downtime biostimulating peel that brightens, smooths, and refreshes the skin.
The short answer
BioRePeel is a two-phase chemical peel that exfoliates the surface while delivering amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants to the deeper layers — with no visible peeling and no downtime. At Plump it is $450 ($350 for members), and a series of four to six treatments one to two weeks apart gives the most durable result.
About BioRePeel
BioRePeel is a two-phase chemical peel that combines a controlled exfoliation with a biostimulating layer of amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. The exfoliation removes the top dull layer of skin; the biostimulating phase feeds the deeper layers to support collagen production and skin renewal.
What sets BioRePeel apart from traditional peels is the no-downtime experience. There's no visible peeling, no redness past the first few hours, and you can return to normal activity immediately. It's a great option before an event, between more aggressive treatments, or as a regular maintenance treatment.
Most patients see brighter, smoother skin within a few days. A series of 4–6 treatments spaced 1–2 weeks apart delivers more durable results, with maintenance typically every 4–6 weeks.
In depth
Two phases, one treatment
Conventional peels work in one direction: an acid removes the top layer and you wait out the shedding. BioRePeel is formulated as a biphasic product, which means it does two things simultaneously.
The lipophilic phase carries the active exfoliation, working on the stratum corneum to clear dull, built-up surface cells and loosen congestion in the pores. The hydrophilic phase carries amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants into the deeper layers to support fibroblast activity and skin renewal.
The practical result is exfoliation without the trade-off patients dislike about peels. Skin looks brighter and feels smoother within days, and you are not hiding for a week.
The no-downtime claim, honestly
Most patients have mild tingling during application and light pinkness for a few hours afterward. Visible flaking is uncommon and, when it occurs, is subtle enough that people do not notice it on you.
You can wear makeup the following day and return to normal activity immediately. This is genuinely a lunchtime treatment, which is why we book so many of them in the week before an event.
The honest trade-off is depth. A treatment with no downtime is doing less than one with downtime. BioRePeel is excellent for brightness, congestion, and maintenance; it will not resurface acne scarring or clear significant sun damage the way a laser series will.
Who it suits and what it improves
Best candidates are patients with dullness, uneven tone, mild congestion or blackheads, early fine lines, or oily and acne-prone skin looking for regular maintenance without irritation.
It is also our default recommendation for anyone who wants to start improving their skin but is nervous about downtime or unsure about lasers. It is a low-risk entry point, and how your skin responds tells us something useful about what to do next.
It works across skin tones with a low risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which makes it a safer maintenance option than aggressive peels for deeper phototypes.
Protocol, cost, and cadence
Treatments are $450, or $350 for members, and one base skin treatment is included monthly with Skin Club membership — which makes a consistent peel cadence considerably cheaper than paying per session.
The standard series is four to six treatments spaced one to two weeks apart. Most patients notice brighter skin after the first, and the cumulative effect on tone and texture is clear by the third or fourth. Maintenance is then typically every four to six weeks.
A single session before an event is a legitimate use of the treatment. Book it three to five days ahead rather than the day before, so the brightness has fully arrived.
Aftercare and when to reschedule
Skip actives — retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide, and high-strength vitamin C — for 48 hours before and after. Use gentle cleanser, plain moisturizer, and daily mineral sunscreen.
Avoid saunas, hot yoga, and prolonged sun for the rest of the treatment day. Skin will be slightly more photosensitive for several days even without visible peeling.
We reschedule for active cold sores, open lesions or broken skin in the treatment area, recent isotretinoin, sunburn, and during pregnancy. Tell us about any allergy to salicylates before we start.
